Graduation ceremonies are this Friday & Saturday at the BMO! Large crowds are expected, so please arrive when doors open 1 hour before each ceremony. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Ceremony times, parking, prohibited items & livestreams are at: rps205.com/page/graduation

RPS was well represented at Rockford's Memorial Day parade yesterday. Bands from all four high schools and West Middle School marched through downtown to honor and remember fallen heroes.

Sophomores in the Production Academy’s Engineering Pathway & Haskell STEAM students raced handmade cardboard canoes at Levings Lake! They designed, engineered, & built their boats using only cardboard & duct tape, then competed to see which was the fastest & stayed afloat.

Seniors' Last Day: Today, Guilford seniors celebrated their upcoming graduation with Cap, Gown & a side of Sprinkles! Students enjoyed a donut party, paraded through GHS halls, then visited nearby elementary & middle schools to inspire younger students in their caps & gowns. 🎓🍩









Guilford High School honored 9 seniors at a Military Signing Night as they committed to serve after graduation. Students signed on to the Army and Marines, with one also accepted into the Coast Guard Academy. Thank you for your dedication and service. Congratulations!

SURPRISE: Today, two RPS seniors, Michael Santos-Antonio from EHS & Hannah King from GHS, were awarded with $10,000 scholarships from the Troy Keip Foundation! The foundation supports science careers and pancreatic cancer research. Congratulations to these amazing students!

This email includes a unique Snapcode that you'll need to begin the registration process. Students in the Health Academy competed in the Medical Terminology Challenge at Rock Valley College on April 17th.
Students from Auburn, East, Guilford, Jefferson, Byron, Belvidere North, Harlem, & Winnebago competed in a quiz bowl style competition, testing their knowledge of various medical vocabulary. They also received a tour of RVC’s Health Sciences building & participated in hands on experiences in different medical fields.
