RPS hosted the 14th annual Academy Expo. 2,000 freshmen connected with over 100 local businesses to explore future careers. With support from 500+ volunteers, students gained real-world insight to help guide their academy selections for the rest of their high school journey.

It's National School Lunch Week and today is Lucky Tray Day at all RPS 205 K-12 schools! Look for the lucky stamp under your lunch tray to win a prize. If you have a winning tray, bring your tray to the kitchen team to claim your prize. Good luck!

It’s back! RPS 205’s Chicken Sandwich Contest returns! Create the most creative chicken sandwich for a chance to win a Nintendo Switch OLED & have your sandwich featured on the menu this spring! Turn in entries to your kitchen staff Oct. 14–17. Winners will be announced Nov. 17!

Napleton Subaru Rockford partnered with Adopt a Classroom and Guilford High School during Subaru Loves Learning Month. Teachers Ruth O’Donnell, Nathan Kirschmann, Michelle Tucker, Erin Krieg, Ryan Callahan, and Megan Droy each received kits and $500 for classroom supplies.

Guilford High School Engineering students took a trip to FABTECH in Chicago, where they explored cutting-edge technology and even had the opportunity to meet Illinois Governor JB Pritzker!

Guilford High School's Student Athlete Leadership Team (SALT) led sports camps today @ West View Elementary! Students showing strong Behavior, Attendance, & Grades (BAGS) joined in basketball, football, soccer, & cheerleading, topped off w/ ice cream to celebrate their hard work!

This week’s PRIDE drawing was absolutely unforgettable! The excitement kicked off when the very first student, Tremari D, walked in and said today is his birthday! Then, as if by magic, the winner Morgan S revealed it was her birthday too! Can you believe the odds? But hold on, the surprises didn’t stop there. Armani N then dropped the bombshell that today was also his birthday! While it wasn’t Jonas R’s special day, he still got a moment in the spotlight holding the sign for Mike Z, who wasn’t here today. What an incredible birthday celebration surprise! Special shout out to our teacher winner, Ms. Rylatt. Talk about a day full of PRIDE and joy!
