The Voyager is the student newspaper for Guilford High School.

Guilford has purchased for use by all departments the use of the website at Turnitin.com. This program enables staff to check student documents for plagiarism. It has the ability to "instantly identify papers containing unoriginal material." All students should be advised that your documents will be checked.
Teachers will find more information on the GHS library link. Nancy Kiefer, our librarian, will provide you with the necessary login code and passwords if you did not get them emailed to you.

Do you wish to bring a friend that does not attend Guilford to the Homecoming Dance? If so, be sure to read the guidelines and have the form completed before you purchase your tickets. 	What's New... Summer Break Begins June 9th We hope you all have a great summer! School will resume with registration on August 12-13. Teacher Institute days will be August 21-22 and the first day for all students will be August 25. The last day is scheduled for June 3, 2009. A link to the complete 2008-2009 RPS Calender is below. 2008-2009 [PDF] ------------------------ Lincoln Middle School Principal Mike Valentine will become the next principal at Guilford High School. He will replace Tim Kutz who leaves this summer to become principal of a high school under former Superintendent Dennis Thompson in the Collier County (Fla.) School District. Valentine, 38, led Lincoln for five years. In a 10-year career in the Rockford School District, he also has been a special-education teacher and an assistant principal at East High. He said that he plans to work collaboratively with teachers at Guilford.
