| Student Council |
Student Council is the Guilford student
government. Freshman elections take
place before Homecoming. All freshmen
are welcome to run for a position.
General elections are held in the
spring, and all students are welcome to
run. Student Council organizes
Homecoming, the canned food drive,
Spring Fling Week, and many other
activities. |
| SADD |
Students Against Drunk Driving is a
student organization that helps to
promote safety against the threat of
drugs and alcohol. Members sign a pledge
to stay drug and alcohol free. |
| Breakfast Club |
If you
are a junior or senior and like getting
up early in the morning, hanging out
with friends, and eating waffles or
Swedish pancakes, then you are invited
to Breakfast Club every Friday before
school. The club goes to restaurants
such as Stockholm Inn and Cracker
Barrel. |
| Chess Club |
Chess
Club is exactly what it sounds like.
Students meet once a week and play other
students in a friendly game of chess. |
| Key Club |
Key
Club is a group of hardworking students
who have the goal of making our
community a better place. Last year the
club helped in the Courtyard 2000
project, served food in soup kitchens,
and tutored elementary students. |
| Seekers |
Seekers tries to bring together students
from different ethnic, national, and
religious backgrounds. |
| Ski Club |
Ski
club is a fun winter club. Students go
on weekend trips to various area ski
resorts. |
