Virtual TI-83 Calculator

Here is another virtual calculator similar to the TI--83 Flash Debugger Calculator that we have.  The zipped file can be downloaded and installed on your computer to simulate a TI-83.  Unzip the file and then click on the VTI file to run the program.
  * Editor's Note:
        Although I have not tested this thoroughly there appears to be some advantages of this program over the Debugger.  For one thing it can be resized for use in the classroom.  Also if you right click you sill see the full menu of capabilities.  The VTI text document describes all the features.

Summer (Review) Math Packets

The GHS Math Department is again offering  “summer math packets” which are now available for you to complete for your next math class.  The packets can be used in ALL LEVELS of math.  To access them click on the link above.

Most packets contain a brief review of the topics that were covered in previous courses and which will be the basic minimum skills that a student should be able to use in the course that they will take in the fall.
See menu on the left.

Algebrator

Using the Algebrator is like having an algebra tutor on call 24/7.  The Algebrator covers the entire high school and college algebra curricula. (pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and College Algebra.)
This program is also marketed with the name Algebra Buster.

When Will I Use This?

A common question students ask - this website has broken down algebra 1, geometry, and algebra 2 by topics.  I have listed 269 careers in the data base.  Then it has made the correlations between topics and careers.  Also included are a number of worksheets and math games.

TI Calculator Page

A special TI Calculator page has been added to the menu on the LOWER LEFT called "TI Calculators".  This page has information on where to purchase your TI Calculator (We recommend the 84+ Silver Edition.)  It also has links to the TI website where you will find a FREE graphing calculator simulator as well as other FREE (and small fee) applications for using with your purchased calculators.  Just look to the menu on the left.
