Geometry Curriculum
 |
This curriculum plan was developed by the Summer Math Committee in the
Summer of 2008. All four Rockford high schools had representatives
present as well as Cathy Morrow (District 205 High School Math Supervisor). This plan is
expected to be implemented in the Fall of 2008.
A possible lesson suggestion is listed for each section. In addition there is a Powerpoint of the problem set for EACH section that can be used in your classroom. The Powerpoint form may also be used by students to print each lesson as a "worksheet". Under the Smart Notebook section - the "Blank" column can be used with a Smartboard if it is available in your classroom. The "Answers" will be added later. PSAE and Website links were added as a convenient reference for both teachers and students. Many of the websites can be used for introductions to each section. Special thanks to Rick Chance of Kentlake (WA) High School for many of these links. |
