Carpe Diem has been in existence for the
past twelve years. It was the dreamchild
of Booster Board parents Mr. Eugene
Berthusen and Mr. William Coole. They
wanted to create a program that would
give students an incentive for academic
success.
After presenting their idea at a faculty
meeting, the Guilford staff embraced the
concept and Carpe Diem was born. This
student incentive program is made up of
parents and teachers. Carpe Diem is
based on the belief that when parents
and teachers work together, students
will succeed.
